| Abstract: | The authors examine the difficulty of resource allocation decisions and allocation rule choices. They study three factors: (1) the type of decision, (2)whether different types of resources lead managers to use different allocatin rules; and (3) whether different rules are preferred by allocators with individualist versus collectivistic cultural orientations. |
