| Abstract: | The New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) is the largest urban mass transit system in the US. The subway system serves 4 million customers every weekday -- 1.1 billion riders a year. The bus system serves 550 million riders a year. Within the NYCTA, the department of capital programmes management (CPM) is responsible for design and construction management throughout NYCTA. |
