| Abstract: | This article discusses natural resources in fractionalized countries and develops a model that can explain why natural resources are a blessing for some countries, but a curse for others. The author argues that the model predicts that natural resources lower incomes in fractionalized countries, but increase incomes in homogenous countries. |
