Abstract: | In this conceptual paper the dynamics that influence the appearance of group affect are examined in order to gain better understanding of positive organizational behavior. The authors use the concept of positive group affect spiral (hereafter as PGAS) to illustrate the mechanism of dynamic and self-reinforcing spiral between positive group affective sharing and similarity and group relationship quality. According to the findings charismatic leadership will improve PGAS whereas external variables may have negative effect on this spiraling relationship in working groups. |
