| Abstract: | According to traditional "stable-process" problem, the project-based company's memory and project implementation can't interact. A recursive view of the project-based company suggests that these two exist at different levels of analysis, remain distinct from each other, but interact in such a way that both are modified through interaction. The purpose of this paper is to show that, with help of recursive view, it can shed new light on the problem of knowledge production in project-based companies. The findings suggest that the idea of recursivity seems to represent explanatory potential through bringing new light to relationships between the project-based company's memory and project implementations. |
