| Abstract: | A review of the mainstream industrial organisation tradition and the status and tradition of industrial dynamics. A research agenda for such dynamics is outlined. The author proposes that more attention should be devoted to the problems of industrial dynamics, which would strengthen industrial economics if the industrial dynamics tradition was more developed both theoretically and empirically, and if industrial organisation was more supportive. |
