Abstract:A review of a study concerning framing covering priming different decision criteria, the influences evaluation outcomes for both expert and novice consumers, when the alternatives are noncomparable and influence evaluation outcomes for novices when the alternatives are comparable, how decision criterion can alter consumers' cognitive responses making them appear more like cognitive responses typical of comparable sets, and the ready availability of decision criteria versus the need to construct them.
