| Abstract: | The optimal incentive system is analyzed from the standpoint of a principal who does not know the utility function of the agent and/or the connection between profit and effort of the agent. It is analyzed how optimal result depending premium functions can be estimated if the instance - stating the premium system - has uncertain expectations about the utility function of the decision bearer and the profit effort connection. It is shown that it is advantageous from the viewpoint of the instance to use the information advantage of the decision bearer so that it offers more premium functions for choice. |
