| Abstract: | Transmission standards are still unsettled in Europe. Now Euromac has asked CCETT and Anglo-Nordic groups to work out common standards. Decision is expected in 2 months, and equipment in the accepted format is likely to be ready be end 1988. Program channels urge common conditional access standards as well. "Over-the-air keying" has been chosen as the best subscription control system type. |
