| Abstract: | CBC plans to be the first American all stereo station by autumn. In Britain stereo TV equipment has been on sale for 6 years. Its penetration is inevitable; HDTV and stereo sound must go together. The satellite broadcasters will introduce it together with the new higher definition D-MAC standard.BBC's NICAM digital system seems to be a success. |
