Abstract:In the next 10 years there will be an explosion of channels and viewing hours. So it is worth predicting the expenditure on programmmes. Strategic Market Analysts /SMA/ was asked to predict how much is likely to be spent on British TV productions.According to SMA the costs are likely to fall on the long run, partly because of the more efficient production methods, partly because of a drop in production values. Licence fee seems to be the best method in getting money into the programmes.
