| Abstract: | This article investigates personal characteristics and experiences of buyers who interface with design engineering personnel in an effort to identify variables that correlate with successful relations. The results of the study should assist purchasing managers in selecting and developing appropriate training for individuals who have the potential to interface successfully with design personnel. |
