| Abstract: | This is an applied general equilibrium model quantifying the economic impact and environmental effect of a tax on emissions. The impact of abatement technologies on economic growth and on environmental quality is also assessed. Capital is treated as a quasi-fixed input and capacity changes entail adjustment costs. |
