| Abstract: | Surveys suggest that about one in five companies based in the City or the West End of London have already considered or are considering relocation. Relocation is a tool for bringing jobs into those areas that most need them. The decentralisation of the public sector with the transfer of tens of thousands of jobs out of London is central to Government's regional policy. |
