Abstract:From 1992 to 1994, the whole country's retail prices rose by 5.4%, 13.2% and 21.7% respectively. Therefore, the inflation has become the major barrier in the economic development and deepening reform. The following measures should be taken: (1) strictly controlling the scale of projects under construction and opitomizing the structure of investment; (2) maintaining proper consumption funds not to make them ballooning; (3) strictly controlling money issuance and social money supply; (4) strengthening macro regulation and control to realize the balance between social total demand and total supply.
