Abstract:Conventional international revenue and expenditure theory which is established on the basis of partial balance or general balance is hard to give a precise description of the economic situation of a country after devaluation. This article tries hard to explore the influence of devaluation on a country's economy from a model (imbalance analysis) which is closer to reality in theory. The article points out that the policy of using the devaluated exchange rate in current economic situation can not improve China's international revenue and expenditure and on the contrary, keeping the stability of the exchange rate of RMB can avoid the negative influence in the contract effect period after devaluation.
