Abstract:This study examines relocation results for geographically mobile employees in Germany as the home country and destination for domestic assignments, Western Europe and other countries. The contentmen with various aspects of the working environment were compared between the three groups. The domestic sub-sample was the group least satisfied with their job characteristics, perceived notably fewer changes in the environment and was relatively eager to leave the current workplace and the job they were currently employed in.
