| Abstract: | From Jan to April, 1996, 0.486 million vehicles were produced nation wide with an increase range of 3.1% and 0.462 million units were sold with an decrease range of 1.8%, compared with those in the same period of 1995. In terms of auto types, the production output and sales of passenger cars increased greatly. However, the sales of medium-sized vehicles heavy- duty and light-duty trucks and mini cars all fell , to a great extent. The range of price decrease of Santa, Xiali, City Golf, Alto and Peugeot reached 10% or so. It has seldom been seen in recent years. |
