| Abstract: | According to the forecast of the State Information Centre and the research institutions concerned, and the comprehensive analysis of expects, it is shown that China's demand for cars will enter a period of great increase around the year 2000. According to foreign experiences and China's reality, to produce economic car we should meets the following demands: safe and reliable; economical fuel; low pollution; right motive power and comfort; beautifully-designed; suitable price; light weight; high power; low cost of production, less investment, etc. And further conditions have been put forward for the type of economic car and point-selecting for the new car plants. |
