| Abstract: | After China's entry into the WTO its automobile industry can be said to bear, to a certain degree, the pressure out of the following causes. 1. The potential market at home is large. 2. China automobile industry has the edge in some aspects over other countries. 3. There is a period of protection (tariff should be raising for years). 4. As a result of China's entry into the WTO, trade liberalization may bring direct benefits to the development of its automobile industry. |
