| Abstract: | This article deals with Finnish national programmes to reach the targeted emission reductions set by the Kyoto climate treaty. The most important renewable energy source is bioenergy, but there is also an expanding potential for wind power and solar energy. Included are target figures, and a set of terminology of renewable energy sources. |
