Abstract:The article suggests that the firm's risk-taking propensity is influenced by its ethical climate and its emphasis on controlling output to manage its marketing function. A survey of manufacturing industries in USA is conducted. The findings indicate that ethical climate and marketing output control have a significant effect on firm's risk-taking propensity.
