| Abstract: | The Maxwell Saga is not a play in the West End, at least for the moment; but while this may mean that the general public has been deprived of some "entertainment", the saga has provided lawyers with a surfeit of litigation, and in addition, some significant decisions of the courts. This article analyses the problems before the court in Re Maxwell Communications corporation Plc (No.2) and the court's treatment of them; it goes on to consider the contribution of Re Maxwell Communications Corporation Plc (No.2) to the development of the law. |
