| Abstract: | The authors argue that in order to deal effectively with change, one needs to adopt a comprehensive approach that regocnizes the many types of system evolution and their interdependencies. Recognizing that various areas of computing, business administration, and social sciences have made substantial advances in understanding and dealing with change from their respective viewpoints, they advocate a strategy that builds on these advances and practices. |
