| Abstract: | This article studies the status of teaching intercultural communication in the U.S. It also presents a comparative (German-American) perspective to illustrate that there are transatlantic differences between the teaching and practise of intercultural communication itself. The writers suggest a new undergraduate curriculum leading to a double degree in Business and German Studies that reflects a practical focus on acquiring intercultural competencies. |
