| Abstract: | The authors focused on the Spanish retail market as a case study on ethical investments. The aim was to analyze the annual financial performance of socially responsible funds and the effects on investors. The style analysis is based on the Spanish Securities and Markets Commission data and it covered three year period with a sample of 2064 funds. The conclusions of the paper reveal that ethical investment funds should not be considered as sacrifices. |
