Abstract:Identifying a company's strengths and weaknesses is getting more important than ever for better aligning resources and strategies. This paper deals with the challenges of corporate citizenship (hereafter as: c-c.) management, outlining key findings and lessons learnt from piloting a new assessment tool for companies. There are two examples of how companies have used the tool to advance their c-c. efforts. Finally, summarized are key findings about 'strengths' and 'gaps' in c-c. management, providing recommendations for further research.
