Abstract:The authors of this article argue that most enterprise managers only consult their current and potential customers when planning their corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, and don't, for example, refer to ethical principles in doing it. The paper is based on a research carried out by the Kurt Lewin Foundation, focusing on communication of social responsibility. According to the authors, CSR is often thought of as a separate task aiming at short-term results rather than as a consequence of ethical core business process, which is the reason for the difficulties of finding proper CSR solutions for enterprises and committing the employees to it.
