| Abstract: | As World Aids Day on 1 December focuses attention on the disease, the author reports on what companies are doing to prevent discrimination against employees with HIV or Aids - and finds that a clear policy not only helps organizations treat people fairly, but also makes good business sense. The fear and ignorance surrounding Aids and the HIV that leads to it persuaded some companies of the need to take a stance on the issue before any problems arose. |
