| Abstract: | There is a resurgence of public interest in ethical issues in both public and business life. Committees led by Scott, Nolan and Greenbury have all covered very similar ground in seeking to define appropriate behaviours. People are asking questions about how businesses balance short-term economic success indicators with their responsibility to all their stakeholders, including employees and to the society in which they live and operate. The most important area in which people are stakeholders is at work. |
