| Abstract: | This article outlines and illustrates 3 dimensions of explanations about women's careers: Structural, cultural and action dimensions. They are considered as aspects of determinism and choice in women's careers and are illustrated with regard to different professional sectors. Change needs to be a prominent feature in the analysis of women's careers. |
