| Abstract: | The purpose of this introductory article is to lead in to the main articles on the subject of changing experiences of work. In contrast with the previous "industrial" conception of work, which was a rather homogenous experience for most workers, the current experience of work is characterised by the diversity among workers along three main axes: time, space and contractual regulation. |
