Abstract: | This study examines the processes of identity construction (henceforth as: id-ctrn./id-ctrns.) in knowledge-intensive work (here as: k-i-w). Narrative perspectives and the concept of positioning are central in the analysis. Using an architect firm as a case, the analysis shows how identity is constructed in encounters btw. work performances, discourses of work and working conditions (here as: w-conds.) etc. It is concluded that id-ctrns. in k-i-w. are processes where narratives are constructed, discursive positions are taken and w-conds. are interpreted (original in Norwegian). |
