| Abstract: | Since reform and opening up, China's tourism has developed rapidly and it has played more and more important role in creating exchange through export. China has already been ranked in the top ten countries creating exchange through tourism. But China's tourism has drawbacks too. The single and outdated tourist products lack competitiveness. There is a gap in the facilities and condition of sanitation and safety compared with the international standards. Once China joins the WTO, China's tourism will stand the great pressure of trade liberalisation in the intense world competition although it can have the qualification that other countries have. |
