| Abstract: | Hong Kong's tourism has become one of the three major economic pillars and the second main source of foreign exchange earnings. The paper makes an introduction to the status quo of Hong Kong's tourism, analyses the factors of its success and thinks that after 1997, Hong Kong's tourism will attract more and more visitors both from inland area and from foreign countries and remain flourishing with its co-operation with inland tourist industry strengthened. It also raises several suggestions on creating strongly appealing environment for tourism with the backing of lodging, food and shopping. |
