| Abstract: | Development of tourism in Fujian province and that of its population, environment and resources should be well coordinated. The measures to be taken for the sustainable development of tourism there should be as follows: 1. raising funds through many channels to speed up the development of resources; 2. strengthening unified management and protecting resource environment; 3. enhancing planning and guidance and stressing the key points of development; 4 making clear the development direction and promoting ecological tourism; 5. concentrating efforts on the construction of infrastructure facilities and perfecting transportation for tourism; 6. strengthening publicity and sale promotion to enlarge visitor source market; 7. attaching importance to production and marketing goods and accelerating the training of personnel. |
