| Abstract: | International tourism is a extremely sensitive business. Sudden changes in international political and economic situations will soon be reflected on international tourism. Faced with the Asian financial crisis and its impacts on political and economic situation in this region, Chinese government, tourism administrations and tourism firms may adopt the following measures: simplify the entry procedures of foreign tourists; implement the drawback system for short-term tourists' shopping; lower the price of international transportation; make efforts to develop business tour; prize tour and conference tour, etc. |
