| Abstract: | Directions for developing tourism in Shenzhen include: 1. Developing business and conference tourism; 2. On the basis of the utilization of artificial scenic areas, enthusiastically developing entertainment and tourism projects which can be participated extensively currently, deep development of three scenic areas should add entertainment factors. 3. Developing coastal vacation tourism by making use of coastal resources along eastern coastal regions. 4. Objects of tourism project development include tourists from Shenzhen, Guangdong, HK and Macao. 5. Setting up network system of tourism information services. The system may be public welfare or profitable. It also can be a mixture of public welfare and profit-making 6.Tourism development must get cooperation from surrounding areas, including HK, the Pearl River delta region and so on. |
