Abstract:With respect to the ethical concern of using information unbeknown to its posters, the authors point out that personal web pages are freely posted and freely available, unless they are "passworded". Regarding the concern that people will not welcome uninvited e-mail messages, the authors suggest that the first such message allow the recipient easily to opt out of future messages.
