Abstract:The study analyzes the variability of the revenue per available room (RevPAR) of specific lodging price and location segments relative to the industry as a whole, and to determine whether the variability increases when moving from low to high price segments. The higher the RevPAR, the greater the volatility in a hotel investment - but there is also more money to be made.
