Abstract: | In this study, identified and documented is a consumer-oriented attribute inventory for evaluation of theme parks. Data were gathered from over 600 Central Florida residents, domestic and international tourists who identified and ranked the importance level of 41 attributes and park characteristics when visiting a typical theme park. Using factor analysis identified were seven key constructs summarizing key areas. The majority were related to guest experiences, e.g. i. entertainment variety (here as: var.) and quality (as: qty.), ii. courtesy, cleanliness, safety and security, iii. food var. and value for money (as: v-for-m.), iv. qty. of theming and design, v. availability and var. of family-oriented activities, vi. qty. and var. of attractions and rides, and vii. pricing and v-for-m. |
