| Abstract: | The paper discusses the tourism satellite account(TSA), a popular tool to measure direct contributions of tourism consumption to a national economy. TSA is an account rather that a model, and thus it has gained a unique role in quantifying economic contributions of tourists visiting a country.The article aims to make TSA accessible to non economic accountants by discussing its concepts, structure and definitions. |
