Abstract:This article aims to track the brand positions held by a competitive set of near-home destinations in Queensland, Australia between 2003 and 2007. A hierarchy of consumer based brand equity (CBBE) is used to observe destination brand positions over time. The study relies on data from two questionnaires geared to Brisbane residents. It is found that there was no change in brand positions over the four-year period.
