Abstract:The writer searches answers to the question of market knowledge’s contribution to a firm’s innovation activities. Profound information of four companies facing the challenge of continuous innovation in different fields of business is presented in the article. The research shows how companies use internal knowledge brokers (hereafter as: int-k-brks.) in different purposes; int-k-brks. (1) adopt market knowledge, (2) promote knowledge sharing within the organization and (3) take actively part in the process of innovation. The writer contends that the way market knowledge is used and shared in the organization affects to the success of the innovation activities, and int-k-brks. have an important role in this.
