Abstract:The authors compared the appearance of sex on TV in 1979 and 1989. They found that there was no decline and in the majority of cases sexual responsibility was not expressed and mainly premarital and extramarital sex was shown. Critics think that it attracts audience and thus rating increases. There is also a connection with AIDS and teenage pregnancy.
