| Abstract: | Computer-aided software engineering (CASE) technology is suggested as a possible means to increase the productivity and quality of systems development. While some studies report productivity gains from CASE usage, others observe that expected productivity gains are difficult to achieve. The importance of looking into these contradictory results can hardly be overemphasized as uneven succes of CASE has led many information systems managers to delay implementation. |
