Abstract:A turbulent market demands new approaches. Marketers have seen major transitions before, albeit not quite as abrupt, horrifying, or emphatic as due to the events of Sept. 11, 2001. This transition, at least so far, is especially distressing. This is partly because leaders are having great difficulty painting a vision for the future. It's muddy. Things will never be the same. But just what will they be?
