Abstract:Information systems (hereafter as IS) planning in organizations is developing continuously. This article provides a new approach to IS planning that enables inclusion and participation of people. The approach focuses on participation of stakeholders and their different concerns, values and interests. Critical thinking and transcendence of traditional boundaries are ways to wider the existing approaches of IS planning. The paper also highlights the importance of ethics in IS planning.
