| Abstract: | A new generation of computer users, - microcomputer users - have been emerging. The major difference between these users and their counterparts using mainframe of minicomputers a few decades ago lies in the fact that minicomputer users are also the primary developers of different microcomputer systems and applications. A precise investigation of the situation must be conducted before one could conclude that an organization could benefit from a micro based system. Identified are problems, resources and constraints, assessed are costs and potential gains. |
