Abstract:Computer-aided software engineering (CASE) has developed into an exciting industry. CASE includes any automated support for developing software, for example text editors and compilers. The tools represent a variety of components that typically provide support for a particular activity. A collection of integrated tools that are able to work together are often referred to as a workbench or an environment.
